A local family is the mastermind behind the artistic yet simplistic elegance known as Homemade by Maria which started out as an out-of-home bakery and rapidly developed into a well-loved local business that offers a variety of cakes, chocolates and gelato. For Master Gelatier, Ivaylo, there is no compromise when it comes to quality of raw materials and end product. There are over 100 gelato flavours but each day only six come out in the distinct gelato cart in the centre of Vratsa. All gelato is created seasonally, using local produce and high-quality Brazil fruits.
