Our Eis Café Pino parlour in Gütersloh, founded in 1979 by our father Giuseppe Pollazzon, continues its artisan tradition today in the third generation. We are Cristina and Daniel Pollazzon, sister and brother, who proudly carry on the family passion. We remain faithful to the tradition of true Italian artisan gelato, still using fresh eggs, together with high quality ingredients from local companies that share with us the value of genuineness. We work directly with these farms and producers to guarantee the excellence of every single ingredient. Our proposal of flavours is enriched every season, with flavours ranging from classic to innovative, such as kefir gelato with elderflower, pomegranate and mint sorbet, and our creamy dark chocolate gelato with dried raspberries. There is no shortage of unique combinations, such as caramelised fig gelato with balsamic vinegar and mascarpone cream with pomegranate jam and pistachio. To further enrich our gelato sundaes, we prepare delicious homemade sauces in-house, such as salted pistachio, Pinotella (our chocolate and hazelnut spread) or wild berry sauce, which makes each portion a true masterpiece of sweetness. We also have a large selection of artisanal chocolates that we use as decoration for the cups, adding elegance and deliciousness to each creation. Each stage of our production follows a rigorous artisanal process, which respects tradition but is also open to innovation, offering our customers an experience that goes beyond just gelato. From gelato to artisanal desserts, such as parfaits and gelato cakes, everything is prepared in our labor with the utmost attention to detail.
