ZAMBON Gelato Naturale – Family Tradition and Passion for Gelato Zambon Gelato Naturale, founded in 1984 in the heart of the old town Lohr am Main on the picturesque Marktplatz, is an artisanal gelateria that blends tradition with innovation. Initially known as Eis Cafè Venezia, the name was changed in 2020 to reflect the family's identity and stand out in the competitive German gelato scene. Now in its third generation, the business is run by Arno Zambon, a master gelato artisan, who has elevated their gelato to a level of excellence. With years of training and numerous prestigious achievements - including 4th place at the 2018 Gelato World Cup, qualification for the 2025 Gelato World Masters finals, being ranked 118th in the Gelato World Masters Ranking of the best gelaterias in the world, Arno continues to innovate and refine every detail, merging tradition with experimentation. Moreover he got 2015 the degree of Gelato Instructor at the Düsseldorf Handwerkskammer. The Zambon philosophy is based on artisanal craftsmanship and quality: natural, sustainable ingredients such as fresh, seasonal fruit sourced from local farmers as well for instance pistachios from Bronte and Sicilian almonds to ensure that our gelato is wholesome and authentic. Delicious and fresh are their seasonal fruit sorbets, like wild blueberry, local strawberry, lime and ginger. Creative combinations - such as lemon with basil or almond with mandarin – as well as dessert-inspired gelatos, such as lemon meringue and plum tart, are telling each a story of flavor and creativity. The Zambon family is committed to sustainability, using paper cups and wooden spoons to minimize our environmental impact. We look forward to welcoming you to Zambon Gelato Naturale, where every flavor celebrates our family story and passion for gelato.
