Eiscafe Rino, was founded 1960 by Rino Andreotta in the historic town of Schramberg in the heart of the Black Forest. The family Andreotta came originally from the gelatieri Zoldo Valley and started their business in Vienna during the second world war, then in the 60 ies, they moved to Bavaria. Chiara Andreotta together with her husband Enrico, both third generation of gelatieri, took over a few years ago the historic parlour with passion and enthusiasm, continuing the great family tradition with an eye toward innovation. The rich showcase features both classic flavors, strictly handmade; and more special and seasonal flavors such as pine shoots, elderflowers and dandelion. Every month Enrico and Chiara create a cup of the month, to enhance even more the seasonality and freshness of the regional ingredients, which they use for their gelato.
