bocconcini di cultura e.V. is an association founded in 2012 on the initiative of Ilaria Bucchioni to promote the Italian language and culture among children, adolescents and young adults. Since 2015, bocconcini di cultura e.V. has been operating as a Management Body for the consular district of Berlin, managing Language and Culture Courses, school support courses, camps, workshops, meetings with authors of literature for young people co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and in collaboration with the Schools Office of the Italian Embassy in Berlin. In cooperation with other organizations operating in Berlin, bocconcini di cultura e.V. also organizes other activities (animated readings, guided tours, concerts, theatrical performances, etc.) aimed at promoting cultural diversity. The association is active in the area for the enhancement of multilingualism and full recognition of the linguistic skills of children whose mother tongue is not German. Through its initiatives, bocconcini reaches around 800 people and their families every year. The association is part of the Landesverband schulischer Fördervereine Berlin Brandenburg e.V. (LSFB) and is a partner of the free youth aid.
